Job title: Transport planner (Bilingual)
Responsible for the performance of transport activities executed by carriers. The ultimate goal is to deliver the goods in good quality to the customers at the right time and place within agreed budget.
To calculate a transport plan for the physical distribution department(s), taking into account throughput times and logistic parameters, with an optimal balance between transportation costs, delivery times, warehouse levels and stock levels.
Your role:
- Draw up & maintain the transportation plan for finished products within a medium term time frame by email and phone.
- Track and trace, shipment coordination of all modes of transportation regarding Philips products.
- To calculate the transport capacity and to draw up the transport plan on a medium term basis, based upon the customer demand and the promised delivery date.
- To set up and maintain sub-system parameters through meetings with external stakeholders.
- Obtain and analyze data from the transport system and to formulate adjustments to the schedules.
You're the right fit if:
1. Bachelor's Degree in process or completed preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain, Multi-modal Transport or similar.
2. Advanced English Proficiency Skills are required
3. Knowledgeable of Data Analytics ( Power BI, Power query, Qliksense) & Transport Management Systems
4. Minimum of 1´year of working experience
4. Excel skills advanced preferred (Vlookup, pivot tables)
