SES Luxembourg is looking for a (Junior) Analyst, Strategy & Market Intelligence – Global Verticals, to assist SMI Global Verticals team in monitoring, understanding, and measuring global trends (competitive, market, and customer) in the satellite and telecommunications market.
In this role, you will directly impact the formulation of SES’s global, regional and vertical strategies and strategic planning efforts by providing multi-vertical support with market insights, competitive intelligence, and ad-hoc analysis.
You will be responsible for

- Assist the Sales and Business Development opportunities with tactical market and competition insights
- Plan the internal regional Sales briefings and offsite presentations
- Support the development of market trends presentations for customers events, meetings, and industry conferences
- Track tenders and communicate to Sales
- Key deliverables include quarterly Video Channel count, yearly Media trend presentation and quarterly satellite competition report
- Contribute to product marketing with strategic messaging by systematic monitoring, tracking, and measurement of key trends (competitive, market customer)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
YOUR PROFILE:
Must Have
- Bachelor, Master, Diploma or comparable university degree in a related field
- 2-5 years’ experience as a proven analyst
- Knowledge of the satellite industry and its key segments - Networks and Media
- Grounding in primary and secondary market research techniques, tools and sources
- Strong computer skills and functional expertise in advanced database work and in Excel modeling
- Readiness to travel internationally if required
